Mydear — Development of a Multi-Location Internal Attendance Management System

Challenge
At Mydear, attendance for multiple sales locations and a large number of employees was tallied manually, placing a heavy workload on the administrative department. The company needed a system to accurately track clock-in/clock-out status at each location, properly manage clock-in corrections and leave requests, and smoothly link this data to payroll calculation. It also needed to be simple enough for any employee to clock in regardless of their device — Web, mobile, or the iPads installed at each location.
Solution & Team
Miichisoft used PHP Laravel and Vue.js to build a Web-based attendance management system on AWS. Location-tagged clock-in/clock-out (integrated with Google Maps) visualizes where each entry was made. Employees can clock in and out via the Web, mobile, or a dedicated iPad installed at each location, and can check their own daily, monthly, and yearly attendance history. The system provides all the functions needed for attendance management, including clock-in corrections (with an approval flow), leave/early-leave requests, an attendance dashboard for administrators, and CSV export for payroll integration. Beyond the initial development, we continue to support ongoing spec changes, improvements, and operational maintenance.
