What is the BOT model?
It is a contract type built on a lab-contract foundation, with team-transfer conditions added (also known as "Build and Buy"). Through three stages — Build → Operate → Transfer — you can integrate an overseas development team into your own company step by step.
Vietnam has a strong pool of IT talent, a 2-hour time difference, and a culture friendly to Japan. At the same time, setting up a company and development team from scratch carries real risk across legal, hiring, and labor matters.
Miichisoft has an established base with its Hanoi headquarters, Miichisoft Solutions, and an executive team with work experience in Japan who partner with you to Japanese quality standards. There is no need to search for multiple partners individually.

Do you have a track record building and running development teams in Vietnam?
Yes. We have formed and run dedicated lab teams centered on bridge SEs over the long term. How long does it take to stand up a team?

Can we eventually transfer the team to our own company?
Yes. Under the BOT model, the team is transferred to your development base from year 2 after contract signing. We begin preparations 6 months before the formal transfer, support the labor contract changes, and continue support for 6 months after transfer. You may choose partial or full transfer.
Can you also handle company incorporation?
Yes, we act as your single point of contact for everything from incorporation and recruiting to HR systems and back office. We coordinate partners in legal, accounting, real estate, and more, so you never need to search for them individually.
If we want to station our own staff with the Vietnam team, can you handle visas and related matters?
Yes. We sign a labor contract with them as Miichisoft staff, issue a long-term visa, and support arranging accommodation, bank account setup, and administrative procedures. We handle the back-office paperwork on your behalf.
