Eliminating offshore uncertainty.
In Japanese, at Japanese quality. We manage bug rates and customer satisfaction with numbers, and protect quality through process even as we use AI.
Why quality holds up, even offshore
Offshore quality and Bilingual support (JA/EN) is the team and system we use to develop in Japanese, at Japanese quality. We guarantee quality through numbers and process, not through feel.
Much of the uncertainty around offshore development comes from questions like "Can I see the quality?" and "Will communication work?" We resolve that uncertainty by managing bug rates and customer satisfaction with numbers, and by having JLPT N1-level BrSEs (Bridge SEs: engineers who bridge requirements in Japanese) handle communication.
The CFPS quality standard
Bugs, customer satisfaction, process, and security. We guarantee quality across these four axes, with numbers and process.
Managing bugs by the numbers (Control)
We build in quality against a standard bug rate of 1.0-1.5 bugs/MM, using static analysis (SonarQube), code review, and testing.
Measuring customer satisfaction (Feedback)
We measure our customer satisfaction score (CSS) every quarter against a standard of 80 or above, and use the results to drive improvement.
Overseeing process (Process)
We oversee our ISO 9001-based standard process on two levels: QA (quality assurance of deliverables) and PQA (process quality assurance).
Making security standard (Security)
We enforce secure coding and access control in line with ISO 27001 requirements.
Our development approach (prototype checkpoints, acceptance gates, two-stage review) is covered in Engagement Models & Development Structure →
AI for speed, people for quality
Even as we use AI, we protect quality through process. That is why results stay consistent.
Tracking every deliverable in Git
We manage deliverables such as specifications in Markdown and record every change in Git, one commit at a time. This lets us fully track who changed what, and when, so context is never lost during handovers.
Standardizing with AI agents
We split each stage of development among specialized AI agents, fixing the procedures, notation, and output format. This delivers consistent-quality output that does not depend on any individual's experience level.
Human checkpoints at every stage
Work is only considered complete once it has passed human checkpoints at each stage: requirements confirmation, design decisions, code review (PR approval), and final verification (UAT).
We have had zero information leak incidents across our contracted projects (our track record).
Quality, by the numbers
And, in Japanese.
Delivering quality with no language barrier.
Japanese-speaking BrSEs with IT expertise
BrSEs with JLPT N1-level Japanese and 3+ years of development experience handle communication. They prepare documentation in Japanese from the basic design stage onward, aligning understanding directly without an interpreter.
Well-versed in Japanese business practices
Our management team has work experience in Japan, and we have Japanese advisors on staff. We run projects following the Japanese practice of hou-ren-sou (report, contact, consult).
JLPT N1 and N2 holders on staff
Certified team members handle design and review work in Japanese.
Frequently asked questions
How do you guarantee quality?
We build in quality against a standard bug rate of 1.0-1.5 bugs/MM, using static analysis (SonarQube), code review, and testing. We also oversee work on two levels, QA (deliverables) and PQA (process), and measure customer satisfaction every quarter.
Is quality reliable when you use AI?
AI drives speed; quality is protected through process. Deliverables are tracked with Markdown and Git, capturing every change, and output is standardized using specialized AI agents. Humans pass work through a checkpoint at every stage.
Can we communicate directly in Japanese?
Yes. A BrSE with IT expertise and JLPT N1-level Japanese serves as your point of contact and prepares design documentation in Japanese as well. You can align understanding directly, without an interpreter.
Will quality drop if the assigned staff changes?
We keep quality and context intact through handovers, thanks to our practice of limiting staff turnover (BrSEs stay on for 2+ years and SEs for 1+ year as a guideline) and our change history in Git.
What is the general cost?
Costs are fixed, based on team size and scope. Since they vary by project, we provide cost estimates individually (free of charge).
Feel free to reach out about quality or our team.
It is fine if this is your first time working with an offshore team. We will carefully walk you through our quality standards and approach. Consultations are free.
* "Bug rate 1.0-1.5 bugs/MM" and "customer satisfaction (CSS) 80 or above" are our company quality standards (MM = person-month, CSS = customer satisfaction score).
* "Zero information leak incidents," "95% of clients are Japanese companies," and "40+ companies" are cumulative figures from our track record.
* ISO 9001:2015 certified. ISTQB is an international certification program for software testing professionals, and we have certified staff on our team.
* Version control of deliverables and standardization through AI agents are standard practices under our in-house development process.
* The contracting entity is our Japanese corporation (Miichisoft Japan Co., Ltd.). We provide a Japanese-language point of contact.
