Hello from the world of AI! 🚀 In today's newsletter, we bring you the following top stories: ・ChatGPT adds meeting recording and begins integration with Google Drive, Box, and other major cloud services ・Meta aims for fully AI-automated advertising by 2026 ・Claude Explains: Anthropic launches a technical blog created through AI-human collaboration

CHATGPT

ChatGPT Adds Meeting Recording, Begins Integration with Google Drive, Box, and Other Major Cloud Services

OpenAI, a pioneer in generative AI, has rolled out a major ChatGPT update for enterprise use, adding cloud integration, automatic meeting recording and transcription, and connectors to external research tools.ChatGPT can now connect seamlessly with Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, SharePoint, and OneDrive, letting users generate advanced answers and reports from their internal company data.

OpenAI says these features run within each company's own access-permission policies.A new feature also auto-transcribes meeting audio into time-stamped notes with suggested action items, searchable by keyword; action items can be turned into documents via OpenAI's Canvas. This competes with ClickUp, Notion, and Zoom, though OpenAI is differentiating through its own AI.OpenAI also launched "Deep Research Connectors" for HubSpot, Linear, and parts of Google/Microsoft, for combining internal and external data into deeper analysis reports.Via MCP (Model Context Protocol), ChatGPT can link to other research tools, available to Pro, Team, and Enterprise plan users.OpenAI intends to push ChatGPT further into enterprise workflows. Rivals include Notion and the Lux Capital-backed startup Context, but OpenAI still holds a strong first-mover advantage.Notably, ChatGPT Enterprise registrations have reached 3 million, up sharply from the 2 million COO Brad Lightcap cited in February.

META

Meta Aims for Fully AI-Automated Advertising by 2026

Meta plans to have AI fully automate ad creation, delivery, and optimization by end-2026. Per the Wall Street Journal, advertisers would just supply a product image and budget, and AI would handle images, video, copy, targeting, and delivery end to end.Meta's apps reach 3.4 billion monthly active users worldwide, giving it a lead in AI ad generation and personalization; it already uses AI for creative variants, video edits, and backgrounds, to advertisers' approval.

Accelerating the Personalization of the Ad Experience

Meta is also weighing "real-time personalization," where AI shows different versions of one ad per user, adapting dynamically to location and browsing history. The goal is an "integrated platform" handling goals, budget, creative, and delivery in one system. CEO Mark Zuckerberg says the market will demand "AI products whose results can be clearly measured."

Ripple Effects Across the Market and Competitor Moves

After the announcement, Meta's stock rose nearly 1% at the open, while Interpublic, Omnicom, WPP, and Publicis all fell, underscoring the stakes for the industry.Google and OpenAI have released similar image/video AI tools, but brand-safety and creative-quality concerns remain, so it's unclear whether a fully automated model like Meta's will become the norm.

ANTHROPIC

Claude Explains: Anthropic Launches a Technical Blog Created Through AI-Human Collaboration

About a week ago, Anthropic quietly launched "Claude Explains," a page collecting technical articles on Claude use cases, e.g. "simplifying complex codebases with Claude."Many posts were generated by Claude, which Anthropic frames as proof of its content-generation ability.Claude's exact "share" of authorship isn't clear. A spokesperson said all content is reviewed by subject-matter experts and an in-house editorial team, who add expertise, examples, and context to Claude's draft."It isn't raw AI output — it goes through substantial human editing and several review rounds," the spokesperson said. "Claude Explains models AI-human collaboration: Claude helps produce educational content, and our team finishes and QAs it."Yet the page's intro reads, "Welcome to a small corner of the Anthropic universe, where Claude talks about every topic under the sun" — which could mislead readers into thinking Claude wrote it alone.Anthropic frames Claude Explains as a symbol of expertise-plus-AI collaboration."We're not replacing human expertise — we're using AI to boost experts' output," the spokesperson said. "It's an early example of AI extending a team's reach for users, and we're also eyeing content creation, data analysis, and strategy."

The Industry Is Watching the Frontier of AI Content

This echoes OpenAI's creative-model launch and Meta's Mark Zuckerberg pushing AI-driven advertising. OpenAI's Sam Altman predicts 95% of outsourced marketing work will eventually go to AI.Gannett, Bloomberg, and Business Insider have all added AI to article writing; Business Insider pushes reporters to use AI to cut costs while lifting productivity.Reportedly, the New York Times is testing AI for headlines, edits, and interview questions, while the Washington Post builds an AI editor called "Ember."

The Accuracy Problem: Still a Long Way From Replacing Humans

Despite the promise, AI content still causes misinformation and factual errors:

  • Business Insider apologized after its AI recommended nonexistent books.
  • Bloomberg had to correct many AI-written summaries.
  • G/O Media drew criticism for false, low-quality AI articles, against readers' and editors' wishes.

Even as it embraces AI, Anthropic keeps hiring for marketing, editorial, and content roles, showing it still values human expertise for high-quality output.
