Contracted Development of "via-learn," a SaaS for Measuring Training Effectiveness

While providing training and coaching services, they wanted to solve the following challenges through a product.

• Training and learning are not put into practice at work and fail to take root
• Measuring training effectiveness tends to get postponed due to the effort and time constraints of aggregating data
• There was no way to track trainees' practice status or OJT progress in real time

To launch a new SaaS product that solves these issues, they needed design capability from the planning stage as well as cloud development resources.

We provided contracted development for "via-learn," a SaaS for measuring training effectiveness, covering everything end-to-end from screen design (UI/UX) to cloud infrastructure setup.

• A survey feature that promotes training transfer (practice) and builds a mechanism to foster trainee autonomy
• Self-management of learning application/practice behavior and a trainee follow-up feature
• Peer evaluation for behavior improvement, and an in-house networking (forum) feature that encourages mutual learning
• Quantification (automatic aggregation) of practice status and a dashboard for tracking training effectiveness in real time

The technology stack adopted was React.js / Node.js / MySQL / AWS. After release, we continued to support the service's growth through ongoing additional development (CRs), including Okta (SSO) integration and database infrastructure version upgrades.

Rjuna LLC (Musashino City, Tokyo; established in 2015) is a company specializing in human resources development and organizational development. While providing leadership training, hierarchical training, coaching, and more for many years, they strongly recognized challenges common to talent development: "training and learning are hard to put into practice and take root in the workplace" and "effectiveness measurement tends to get postponed due to the effort and time constraints of aggregating data."

They therefore planned to launch an in-house SaaS product that could visualize and measure the daily practice of learning on an ongoing basis, without losing the motivation trainees gain from training. To secure dedicated resources for product development, they selected our company as their development partner.
