Why legacy modernization
Legacy modernization and migration is a contracted service that uses AI to visualize old, tribal-knowledge core systems and migrates them to a new foundation while minimizing risk.
When the person who understood the whole system leaves, it becomes a black box. If the documentation no longer matches reality, every modification carries unreadable impact, and you cannot even decide whether to modernize. Being able to "see" the system is the starting point for being able to move it.
Deliverables include a current-state investigation summary, a module map (a diagram of how functions connect), business flow diagrams, a screen inventory and reproduction, a list of risks and technical debt (old constructs that hinder modification), and a migration decision report. We also produce the design documentation that remains after migration, in a form that can be handed off to the next person in charge.
