According to Mr. Cong, AI is no longer just a trend. It has become an integral part of operations across businesses, from product development and internal processes to customer service. For students entering the tech field, having a solid understanding of how AI works and how to apply it in real-life scenarios can be a significant advantage.

“Students shouldn’t be afraid of AI. The key is to see it as a tool that supports your work and opens up new opportunities for learning and career growth,” he emphasized during his talk.

What Do Students Need in the Age of AI?

During the discussion, speakers explored several practical topics, especially around the skills and mindset students need as AI technology evolves rapidly.

Drawing from his experience in recruiting and training tech talent at Miichisoft, Mr. Cong highlighted three essential qualities students should develop to succeed in the AI-driven era:

・Adaptive thinking and a self-learning mindset: Technology evolves daily, and what you know today might be outdated tomorrow. Young people need to stay flexible, learn independently, and continuously update their knowledge.

・Practical tech skills: Beyond theory, students should know how to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts. This includes using AI tools effectively, collaborating in Agile and multicultural environments. They are qualities Miichisoft highly values during recruitment.

・A growth-oriented attitude: In a fast-paced and competitive tech environment, being proactive and eager to learn can truly set you apart.

With a clear training path, experienced mentors, and a creative work environment, Miichisoft has become a launchpad for many young talents in the tech industry.

Bridging the Gap Between Academia and Industry

This event wasn’t just an opportunity for students to gain new perspectives from business leaders, but also helped strengthen the connection between universities and potential employers. Through open dialogue, students got a clearer picture of the real tech landscape, industry expectations, and how to shape their career paths accordingly.

Miichisoft Social Contribution

As a company that has long supported universities through career programs, training, and workforce development initiatives, Miichisoft continues to be committed to nurturing high-quality tech talent. Mr. Vu Hong Cong’s presence at the event reflects Miichisoft’s ongoing mission to contribute to a generation of engineers who are not only technically strong but also well-versed in how businesses operate in the digital age.

Supporting the Next Generation of Tech Talent

Miichisoft believes that discussions like “What Students Need in the Age of AI” are not only helpful for orientation but also serve as a source of inspiration, encouraging students to dream bigger, embrace change, and build a mindset for innovation.

We will continue to act as a bridge between academic knowledge and real-world applications, contributing to a sustainable education-business ecosystem, where students don’t just learn in classrooms but are also equipped to thrive in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.
