The 2026 edition of CAFE BOD came with a few meaningful changes. The program moved from monthly to quarterly and shifted from meeting rooms to café settings. Each department now sends one representative nominated by their department head rather than opening the invite for all employees.

The Q1/2026 session had all three offices joining at the same time. The goal behind these changes is straightforward: to make CAFE BOD a real conversation between leadership and the team. Strategy gets discussed openly rather than just passed down.

From IT Outsourcing Vendor to Growth Partner

The main topic of CAFE BOD Q1/2026 was Miichisoft’s shift toward becoming a Growth Partner. CEO Vu Hong Cong and the leadership team shared this direction directly with the attendees.

To bring this vision to the ground level department representatives joined a brainstorming session on what changes are needed from the team’s side. Several practical ideas came up with. One was restructuring project kick-offs, so engineers understand the client’s business goals from the start and not just the technical specs. Others suggested running training programs to build consulting and client communication skills across the team.

All ideas from the session were noted by leadership and are being considered for rollout in the coming months.
