Working in Japan – Insights from Miichisoft’s CEO
One of the key topics discussed during the event was international career opportunities. In addition to destinations like France and other European countries, Japan continues to attract young engineers with its professional working culture, high demand for IT talent, and well-established tech ecosystem.
Drawing from years of experience working with Japanese companies, Mr. Vu Hong Cong remarked:
“The IT industry continues to grow without signs of slowing down. This brings an increasing demand from businesses and the market for high-quality human resources, especially those with strong thinking and problem-solving skills. Students with outstanding academic records and sharp minds are often offered competitive salaries and attractive benefits. Among them, HUST students are highly regarded for their logical thinking, critical reasoning, and strong learning mindset qualities that meet the expectations of both domestic and international employers.”
He also emphasized the importance of early self-awareness, soft skill development, and a lifelong learning mindset in a constantly evolving tech landscape. A solid foundation of skills and adaptability will help students thrive in any working environment, whether in Vietnam or abroad.
